Design and application of automatic additive dosing system for sodium hypochlorite in Yangzhuang water works

Abstract:
Liquid chlorine is being replaced by new disinfection in tap water industry because of the hazard involved. Sodium hypochlorite as one of chlorine-based disinfectants has become a good substitute for liquid chlorine due to the safety in useas well as the good disinfection effect. Automatic additive dosing sterilization system is introduced in terms of sodium hypochlorite disinfectionprocess flow and control methods. In this paper, disinfection effect of sodium hypochlorite is analyzed. A comparison has been made of the costs of liquid chlorine method and sodium hypochlorite method. Furthermore, We analyse the problem caused by property of sodium hypochlorite. The corresponding solution is given.
